Have a nice geeky time with your neighbours by playing video games, drinking cola, and munching some snacks. The event is for tenants of Student Village West. To attend you need a computer (laptop or desktop), 10 meter (30 feet) long ethernet cable (might be a shorter one will suffice, but better safe than sorry), and extension cord with three slots. The event is ongoing (almost) around the clock. There are 16 seats, so you should reserve a place, if you want to ensure that you get a seat. Of course you are also welcome to come and visit us while the event is ongoing and ask whether we have free seats. The Tenant Committees of Student Village invites all adventurous TYS tenants to test winter swimming with us on Thursday 10.12.2015 starting at 18:00 at Ispoinen beach (also called Uittamo beach). Swimming suit is compulsory since the sauna we use will be unisex. The sauna and the common room are reserved for us from 18 to 23. Refreshments and something small to eat will be provided. All are welcome to swim with us! Come and experience an exotic northern winter activity with us!

The event is non-alcoholic.

Kerhis clubroom is located at the ground floor of the two story building behind TYS’s office and Kylänvalinta store.

We’ll go see The Martian movie. The tenants have to pay three euros of the ticket and the tenants’ committee pays the rest. You can sign up at Kerhis clubroom on 5th November at 16-17 and at 20-21. There are places for 24 tenants. (Only for tenants of Student Village West.)

The exact time is still unknown, but we’ll choose a screening that is as close to 19 o’clock as possible. The exact time will be known during the sign up at the latest.
