Let’s have a traditional laskiais party, where traditional Finnish dishes will be served!
The menu promises at least the following delicacies + much more:
Laskiais buns, pea soup, Karelian roast and rice porridge, Runebergin
tarts and other traditional Finnish delicacies. Vegetarian/vegan versions are also available!
The event is free for TYS residents.

Welcome to Tuesday’s movie night at Kerhis!

The movie is open to everyone living at TYS and free of charge. The movie starts at around 19:00 – 19:30 and includes some soft drinks and snacks.
Movie of the night: Don’t look up
Together we will watch the 2021 American political satire and black comedy âDonât Look Upâ.
The film tells the story of two astronomers attempting to warn humanity about an approaching comet that will destroy human civilization. The comet serves as a visual metaphor for the impending climate emergency and prompts us to think about how vulnerable people are put at the greatest risk when companies and governments deny scientific facts.
While in contrast to the comet in the movie, the impact of climate-change may not be experienced by city-dwellers on a daily basis, everyone can do a little to collectively make a big impact. Letâs discuss about the state of the climate debate today and what small steps each of us can take to stand up for the planet.
We will meet in Clubroom Yo-kylÀ 8D 4 at 7 pm on the 25.2. Max. 20 people, first come first serve. Sign up by writing us on IG @energypositiveturku
We play games and eat pancakes and drink cocoa.
You can also come and sit and chat, even if you are not interested in games.

Welcome to celebrate Valentine’s Day at the student village west club apartment (8 D 4) from 19:00.
The theme of the event is loosely traffic lights, the residents’ committee offers supplies with which you can craft a light that suits you, or you can not craft at all, everyone is welcome.
The residents’ committee also offers snacks and various drinks, possibly also something with barley for the fastest.
You should also bring your own snacks and meads :)

Let’s travel together to Ruissalo Botanical Garden to watch birds.
Energy mentors invite you to a bird walk that starts at 0955 at Ruissalon puistotie 215, 20100 Turku.
You can come directly to the place with your own transport, (e.g. Buses 54+8), or if you want to travel in a group with mentors, there is an option to meet at the Inspehtorinkatu bus stop number 445 at 0910

After the tour, you can buy treats at the garden’s cafe before going home.
