WHAT? Welcoming party for new tenants of TYS. Old tenants are also more than very welcome. Live music, cheap drinks, and great company.
WHY? Having fun, getting to know new people, increasing the sense of community, and a possibility for students from other cities and countries to get to know culture of Turku.

Tenants’ committees from Student Village East and West have a joint preparty at Student Village West’s clubroom Kerhis in the two story building behind TYS Housing Office starting at 6 pm. Nummenranta starts the preparty at 7 pm in the fifth floor clubroom in house 17 D.

Tenants’ commitee has a meeting and decides about future events and other matters. You’re welcome to tell your ideas or just hang around and enjoy some snacks.
Let’s play board games and Wii U. We’ll offer some candy, chips, and soda or some other snacks to enjoy while playing games. We have both new Wii U games and new board games that we have acquired during the summer.
Have a nice geeky time with your neighbours by playing video games, drinking cola, and munching some snacks. The event is for tenants of TYS.
To attend you need a computer (laptop or desktop), 10 meter (30 feet) long ethernet cable (might be a shorter one will suffice, but be safe!), and extension cord with three slots. The event is ongoing (almost) around the clock.
There are 16 seats, so you should reserve a place, if you want to ensure that you get a seat. Of course you are also welcome to come and visit us while the event is ongoing and ask whether we have free seats.
