The meeting is open for all the tenants. If you have an idea or a comment that you think would be good to be talked about at the meeting, but you can’t make it yourself, please contact us at tys.yklansi([at])gmail.com, and we shall talk about it at the meeting.
At this second meeting we would like to write a script for the film, first we go through the basics of writing a script, and then let everyone have the opportunity to write a manuscript about the movie that were being proposed. However, it is intended to keep the number of scripts minimal and in the case of large amount of participation being prepared to write manuscripts in groups.

This summer the film club focuses on making films, our mission is to shoot a playful short film during the summer. At this first meeting, we gather the best movie ideas we come up with and we go through them. Finally, we create a basic structure and message for each proposal, which would work as a formula for writing a script.

Tenants who decide to stay in the city can celebrate the Midsummer together. Tenants’ Committee will offer BBQ for the whole weekend and the grill will be hot for your own food too. We don’t have budget to offer Midsummer booze, so you should arrange your own hydration. Let’s listen to music, complain about the weather, play games, and moan about our decision to stay in town, but more than anything: let’s have a fun Midsummer together!
The TYS Film Club organizes film-related events every Tuesday at 7pm, the club is free and all TYS’s attendees are welcome to attend. During regular Movie nights, we often discuss a certain theme around the subject and draw certain conclusions about film themes at the end of the night. You may also join the event in the middle of a movie, so you do not have to wait for the next movie.
This time the theme of the movie night is Nicolas Cage. We look at the Con Air first, which made its premiere 20 years ago. The evening is finalized by Ghost Rider. Movie nights will go after this event on a summer break and come back in August with Gangster films.
