The tenants’ committee offers pizza and beer for all tenants. Vegan and porkless diets are taken into account and there will be also soda to drink. :)
The movie club organizes free movie nights on Tuesdays for all residents of TYS. We are going to watch korean horror Train to Busan (2016). Popcorn and other snacks are served at the event.
Tenants’ committee has a meeting and decides about future events and other matters. All tenants of Student Village West are welcome to tell your ideas for events or just hang around and enjoy some snacks. If you have an idea or a comment that you think would be good to be talked about at the meeting, but you can’t make it yourself, please contact us at tys.yklansi([at])gmail.com, and we shall talk about it at the meeting.

The movie club organizes free movie nights on Tuesdays for all residents of TYS. We are going to watch Spartacus (1960) in memory of Kirk Douglas who died in February. Popcorn and other snacks are served at the event.
TYS tenants’ committees’ advisory board invites all adventurous TYS tenants to test ice swimming (swimming in a hole in the ice) with us on Tuesday 3.3.2020 at 17:00 to Ispoinen beach (Uittamo beach). Swimming suit is compulsory since the sauna we use will be unisex. The sauna and the common room are reserved for us from 17 to 22. Sauna will be ready to use at 17:30. Refreshments, coffee/tee and sausages (also for vegans) will be served. Those who want may also bring their own food. N.B.! The event is non-alcoholic!
The event is free of charge for TYS tenants. Further information on the nature of the activity and the location can be found at http://www.turunavantouimarit.fi/. Please note that there will be no transportation provided by us. You can use for example the busses 13 and 99 to get there.
