The movie club organizes free movie nights on every other Tuesday for all residents of TYS. We are going to watch the cult classic The Big Lebowski (1998) because it was requested. Popcorn and other snacks are served at the event.
Senpai ry and the tenants’s committee of Student Village west organise a hanami picnic together. Let’s sit together by the river Aura, look at the beautiful cherry blossoms, get to know new people, and hopefully enjoy the weather. If the weather happens to be bad, we’ll meet at the clubroom Kerhis at Student Village 8 D 4 and empty our picnic baskets indoors.
You should take a blanket or something else to sit on with you. Student Village west’s tenants’ committee provides some sandwitches and snacks for TYS tenants, otherwise you are adviced to bring own snacks to trade with others.
We’ll leave together from Kerhis (Student Village 8 D 4) at 14:00 and go to picnic place together. If you come later, you can find the place by walking past Ikituuri and turning left after walking over the railway bridge.

In Finland Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May. Let’s make cards for our mothers with enough time for them to be delivered by mail! We’ll bring materials and some snacks.

On Sunday 21.4. the tenants’ committee arranges traditional egg hunt at Student Village West. Cards depicting eggs can be found hidden around Student Village West on Sunday. If you find one, you can exchange it for a chocolate egg or other sweets at 14-20 at clubroom Kerhis. Maximum three eggs per person.
The Egg Hunt begins on Sunday at 10.
We will hang out, talk with our neighbours, and play games at Kerhis all Sunday, since there’s a LAN party at the same time, so welcome to stay for a little while longer too. :)

LAN Party @ Kerhis is being organised for the 16th time!
Have a nice time with your neighbours playing games, drinking energy drinks, and munching some snacks. The event is for tenants of TYS.
You can bring a computer (laptop or desktop), 10 meter (15 feet) long ethernet cable (a shorter one might suffice, but be safe!), and extension cord with three slots. There is also a free wifi, but a cable is better.
You could also play solo or multiplayer games on a Wii U that we have in Kerhis. You don’t have to bring a computer with you to attend! :)
The event is ongoing (almost) around the clock.
